The Alicante Pickleball Tour combines sport, culture, and coastal Spanish charm for an unforgettable experience. Set along the sparkling Mediterranean coast, Alicante offers sunny skies, historic streets, vibrant cuisine, and lively local energy. The perfect setting for travelers who love to play pickleball while exploring Spain.
Your week begins with a Welcome Dinner, where you’ll meet fellow travelers and toast to a week of fun, friendship, and adventure. Each morning, expert-led pickleball clinics get your heart pumping, sharpening skills and strategy for all levels. Afternoons are a chance to explore Alicante’s highlights, from the charming Old Town and sandy Playa del Postiguet to the stunning Santa Barbara Castle, or to relax at your own pace with tapas and local wine.
The tour includes exciting excursions, like a boat trip to Tabarca Island, a serene marine reserve with turquoise waters, cobblestone streets, and fresh seafood. Visits to local vineyards for wine tasting, connecting you with Alicante’s rich cultural heritage. Evenings bring lively experiences, including Flamenco shows and dinners, where the beat, passion, and flavor of Spain come alive.
The week culminates in a friendly tournament, where you can showcase your skills, enjoy team camaraderie, and celebrate a week of learning and play. With prizes, photos, and laughter, this is the ultimate finale to your Alicante adventure.

Itinerary of Alicante Tour
Day 1 - ¡Bienvenidos!
Touch down in beautiful Alicante and step into a new rhythm of life where the air smells like sea salt and fresh espresso. After settling into your stylish hotel, it’s time to unwind and meet your fellow travelers. That evening, we’ll gather for a lively Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant where sangria flows, the tapas never stop, and the group camaraderie begins to build.
Fun Fact: Alicante is one of the sunniest places in Europe, with over 300 days of sunshine each year perfect for pickleball, culture and adventure!
Day 2 – Pickleball & Flamenco Vibes
Get your heart pumping with your first 3-hour coached pickleball training of the tour. Refuel with snacks/tapas, and water available during and after each session. End the day with a fiery Flamenco dinner and show. Feel the beat of the dancers, the soul of the singers, and the magic of centuries-old Spanish expression.
Did You Know? Flamenco is more than music! It’s emotion, storytelling, and a cultural legacy that dates back over 500 years.
Day 3 – Island Escape to Tabarca
This day feels like a mini-vacation within your vacation! After a high-energy morning of pickleball, we hop aboard a boat to Tabarca Island, a dreamy marine reserve surrounded by turquoise water and dotted with whitewashed buildings. You'll explore the island’s cobblestone alleys, snorkel if you like, and enjoy a long, lazy lunch of seafood paella and local wine. It’s the kind of day that makes you want to pinch yourself.
Fun Fact: Once a pirate base, Tabarca is now a car-free haven known for its underwater wildlife and stunning sunset views.
Day 4 – Serve, Sip & Savor
Back on the courts, your skills are sharpening and the friendships are growing. After a morning of play, we’ll visit Alicante’s beautiful vineyards and a charming bodega. Taste bold red and fresh white wines with local tapas, and learn about winemaking that has been done here since Roman times. With golden hills all around, every sip comes with a stunning view.
Insider Pick: In parts of Alicante, winemakers still craft their wines in ancient clay amphorae, the same kind the Romans once used! It’s like sipping history in a glass, with every pour echoing centuries of Mediterranean tradition.
Day 5 – Pickleball, Old Town & Playa
With your paddle in hand and the sun at your back, enjoy another dynamic pickleball session. After having our Spanish tapas and refreshments, we head to Alicante’s colorful Old Town, where charming streets, vibrant squares, and historic architecture invite you to soak in the city’s lively atmosphere. Then, let’s finish the day like the locals do, relaxing at Playa del Postiguet, Alicante’s most beloved urban beach, where you can swim, sunbathe, sip a cool drink at a chiringuito, or simply unwind by the sea.
Fun Fact: Playa del Postiguet sits at the base of a mountain crowned by Santa Barbara Castle, a view that’s equally stunning from the sand or the sea.
Day 6 – Santa Barbara Castle
Kick off the day with your last 3-hours of coached pickleball. Today, your learning turns into power, and tomorrow, you’re ready to compete. In the afternoon, visit Santa Barbara Castle, where rich culture meets breathtaking views of the coastline, the old town, and the sea. Later, let the afternoon unfold at your own pace.
Cool Cultural Note: Each summer, the castle hosts open-air concerts, theater performances, and medieval fairs, turning its historic walls into a lively stage and giving visitors a chance to enjoy culture with a view!
Day 7 – The Tournament Fiesta
Game on! It's tournament day! The Ole Pickleball Tournament is all about energy, excitement, and friendly competition. Show off your new skills, cheer on your teammates, and enjoy every point. Lunch will be available at the Pickleball facility Cantina, so you can refuel and bring your best energy back to the court. Prizes, photos, and plenty of laughter make this one of the tour’s most unforgettable highlights!
Bonus Fun: Winners take home prizes and everyone walks away with stories and smiles.
Day 8 – Adiós, Amigos
Enjoy a final Spanish breakfast before your private transfer takes you to the airport. Leave with a full heart, a sun-kissed glow, and a camera full of memories, from pickleball smashes and serves to sunsets, sangria, and local culture. Beyond the photos, you’ll take home new skills from expert coaching, improved fitness, lasting friendships, and unforgettable moments from a tour that celebrates fun, competition, and the joy of travel, a true win on and off the court!

Pricing & Payment
Single Room – $3,600 (per person for private room)
Double Room – $5,800 ($2,900 per person when sharing a room)
Tour Deposit – To secure your spot, you can make a 20% initial deposit for single occupancy or for double occupancy. Only one deposit is required per double occupancy reservation. This amount will be applied toward your total balance.
Final Payment – After your initial deposit, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the trip dates. You’re welcome to pay the balance anytime before then.

Cancellations & Refunds
If canceling 91 + days before your trip
Only the initial deposit ($300 per person) is non-refundable.
If canceling 61 to 90 days before your trip
30% of the total trip cost becomes non-refundable.
If canceling 31 to 60 days before your trip
60% of the total trip cost becomes non-refundable.
If canceling 30 days or less before your trip
The full trip cost is non-refundable.
Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 15-20 days after cancellation.
